Lake District Rock is a selected climbs guidebook, written and designed by local climbers, published by the Fell and Rock Climbing Club under the brand of Wired Guides. The FRCC has been producing climbing guidebooks to the Lake District for over 100 years and this latest offering with almost 1300 routes on almost 100 crags draws on all that experience to provide the best possible selection across all the grades and styles of climbing that the region has to offer. Mainly trad climbing but also a selection of the best sport and bouldering available.

This new edition offers a few changes in crag and route selection as well as a complete revamp of how the information is presented. Every crag has a map and QR codes for parking and a link to the BMC access database; approaches have been rewritten and new photo-diagrams provided. All of this makes the guide easy to follow, assuming no prior knowledge of the area. It will help climbers decide where best for them to climb on any given day and then get them to their chosen crag and the bottom of their selected route.
