The Black Diamond ATC Pilot is a cleverly designed, uncomplicated, brake-assisted climbing belay device.

Giving you that extra bit of belaying security, this light-weight device is simplistic in that it has no moving parts, and its durable steel braking surface makes for a smooth, secure, controlled and gradual lower off.

The Pilot threads in a similar way to other manual devices and works best with ropes that are from 8.7-10.5mm in diameter.
