Insulation: The G-Summit features an insulated liner and thermal insoles which can be configured to suit your needs. For highly technical activities where lightness and precision are your main needs, the configuration without the liner and with the addition of the thermal insole will guarantee maximum performance even in the most extreme and delicate sections. This mode is best suited to ice and mixed climbing and glacier travel at medium/high altitudes. By inserting the specially dedicated liner, the G-Summit becomes a highly insulated beast perfect for most extreme weather conditions. In this configuration, the G-Summit is the absolute lightest product on the market dedicated to high altitudes and extreme environments. To ensure correct volumes and maximum compatibility, the thermal insole will need to be removed in this configuration.
The patented inner CORE-WRAP™ construction with an overlap structure of heat-insulating fabric combined with structural reinforcements creates a heaven-sent combination of warmth and technicality in the La Sportiva G-Tech. Backed-up with a carbon Z-Therm™ insole for added insulation, Keeping your feet warm and secure.
The external gaiter is water-repellent, scuff-resistant and puncture-resistant, thanks to a PU-inserted layer. The gaiter cuff is also elasticated for the perfect fit so your feet remain dry.
